Below are some of the more common questions about our services.

How do I make a collection/delivery?

All vehicles must be booked at least 24 working hours in advance, please contact Ian Marsh on 01223 834100 or ian.marsh@grantaprocessors.com to make bookings.

How do I arrange for processing to be carried out?

Contact Stephen or Ben 01223 834100 stephen.marsh@grantaprocessors.com, ben.marsh@grantaprocessors.com or leave a message on our contact us page.

Are you able to help with damaged/mouldy/infested shipments?

Yes, we have fumigation and drying facilities available so we can recondition cargoes that are damaged, we can then apply sophisticated cleaning processes to remove foreign material and discoloured product. Please contact us as each distressed cargo needs individual assessment to determine the best action.

What services does your processing plant offer?

Principally cleaning and blending services. See our processing services page.

What allergens do you process?

Only cereals containing gluten, we are a specifically nut and sesame free site.

What 3rd party accreditations does the processing plant hold?

BRC Global standard for Food Safety v7 AA grade, Soil Association Certification for Organic food and seed, TASCC store accreditation. See our accreditations page for downloadable certificates and documents.

How do I check turnaround time?

How do I have some sample bags and mailing bags sent to me?

How can I find out what’s happening to my sample?

Please call the laboratory on 01223 499475.

How can I find out how quickly you can do a mycotoxin test?

We can normally carry out rapid DON & ZON mycotoxin tests within 30 mins of receiving a sample.  Please call the laboratory on 01223 499475 to discuss.

How do I buy a soil sampler?

Do I need to send payment with my samples?

Please don’t send payment with your samples!  All we need is a full address, contact name, phone number and email address, and we will send an invoice at the end of the month.
